Playground Programs

📅 June 22 – August 21, 2026 | 📍 3 Locations | 🔁 Drop-In Program | 💲 Sessions $3–$7

The Rothesay Playground Programs provide children ages 5–12 (including kids who are 4 years old turning 5 by December 31 of this year) with a fun, active, and supervised summer experience at three convenient community locations.

The program runs on weekdays only and does not operate on weekends or statutory holidays.

This is a drop-in program using punch passes, meaning families do not book specific dates in advance. Instead, each visit is deducted from your pass when your child attends.

Throughout the summer, campers enjoy cooperative games, outdoor recreation, arts & crafts, nature activities, water days, theme days, beach afternoons, special events, and much more.

PROGRAM LOCATIONS

PROGRAM SESSIONS

The Playground Program runs in flexible daily sessions. Families can choose morning, afternoon, and/or lunch supervision as needed using their punch passes.

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Early drop-off from 8:30 AM
$7 per session

🍴Lunch Supervision

12:00 – 1:00 PM

Available Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri only
MUST bring lunch from home
NOT available on Thursdays
$3 per session

🌤️Afternoon Session

1:00 – 4:00 PM

Campers must be picked up by 4 PM
$7 per session

WEEKLY & SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

In addition to daily programming, campers participate in special activities and events throughout the summer.

🛍️Store Day

Tuesday Afternoons

Campers walk to the nearby store for a small treat. If your child would like to purchase something, please send a few dollars with them.

🏖️Beach Day

Thursday Afternoons

Campers are dropped off directly at the beach to meet their counselors.

KPark Program → KPark Beach
RPS & Wells Programs → Renforth Beach

Lunch supervision is NOT available on Thursdays. All campers must go home for lunch on Thursdays.

🚌Day Trips

July 15 & August 12

Two planned trips to New River Beach this summer.

$10 fee per trip (plus 2 sessions from your punch pass)
Bus transportation provided (pickup & drop-off at each site)
Permission forms distributed prior to trip
Limited spaces available
NO regular programming on trip days if your child is not signed up

PUNCH PASSES

Playground Program Punch Passes are available for purchase online through the Rothesay Recreation Online Portal. To purchase playground and lunchtime punch passes, you must visit rothesay.perfectmind.com and “Signup” to create your account (if you don’t already have one). Once your account is created, you can go into memberships to purchase your playground program and/or lunchtime punch passes. PLEASE NOTE: Punch Passes are only valid for the season in which they are purchased (June -August) and cannot be carried over. Unused punch passes are NON-REFUNDABLE and valid only with a completed registration form. The online booking system is new for some users and staff and we appreciate your patience as we work to ensure a smooth registration process.

How to Register

STEP 1: Login or Create an Account

Visit the Online Portal & log in OR select “signup” to create your account if you do not already have one.

STEP 2: Purchase Punch Passes

Once you are logged in, navigate to Memberships to purchase your Playground Program Punch Passes.

STEP 3: Submit Registration Form

Completed registration forms MUST be submitted before your child(ren) can attend the program.
