Playground Programs
Rothesay Summer Playground Programs 2025
Rothesay Playground Programs are for kids ages 5-12 (including kids who are 4 years old turning 5 by December 31st of this year). This is a drop-in/punch pass program that operates at 3 different locations: KPark Elementary School, Rothesay Park Middle School and Wells Recreation Park beginning on Monday, June 23rd running until Friday, August 22nd, 2025.
- Morning sessions are 9am-12pm *early drop off available beginning at 8:30am
- Afternoon sessions are 1pm-4pm
- Lunchtime sessions are 12pm-1pm
*Lunchtime sessions are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and require a separate punch pass – all children much go home for lunch on Thursdays. Campers MUST bring a packed lunch from home if they are staying over lunch.
$7.00 per 3-hour morning or afternoon session
$3.00 per lunchtime supervision session
DAILY ACTIVITIES: include cooperative games, field games, nature walks, drama & singing, arts & crafts, theme days, water days and much more!
STORE DAY: On Tuesdays afternoons we walk to the nearby store for a small treat. We ask that you send a few dollars with your child if they wish to purchase something.
BEACH DAY: We spend Thursday afternoons at the beach. Campers are to be dropped off at the beach to meet their counselors. The KPark Program goes to KPark Beach and the RPS and Wells programs go to Renforth Beach. **Lunchtime supervision sessions are NOT available on Thursdays. All campers must go home for lunch on Thursday**
DAY TRIPS: We have two (2) planned day trips to New River Beach this summer – Wednesday, July 16th and Wednesday, August 13th. *There is a $10 fee for each trip (in addition to 2 sessions on your punch card). Transportation (bus) will be provided for the day trips and will pick up/drop off at each site. Permission forms will be available the week prior to each day trip. NOTE: Limited spots are available for each day trip. If your child is not signed up for the day trip there will be no programming available at the sites on these days.
PUNCH PASSES:
Playground Program Punch Passes are available for purchase online through the Rothesay Recreation Online Portal. To purchase playground and lunchtime punch passes you must visit rothesay.perfectmind.com and “Signup” to create your account (if you don’t already have one). Once your account is created, you can go into memberships to purchase your playground program and/or lunchtime punch passes. Please note: 2025 Playground Program punch passes are valid from June 23rd until August 22nd 2025 – leftover punches are NON-Refundable. Punch passes are only valid if you have submitted your completed registration form.
