Rothesay HIVE’s Mission
To be a gathering place to nurture the health and well-being of adults (50+) through a hub of activities that focus on socialization, connection, health and wellness, intergenerational programming, lifelong learning and outreach.
Registration 📍 Location & Accessibility
Programs are on a first come, first served basis. Registration is required for all programs indicated with a (R) at least 48 hours in advance by phone or email. Include your name, phone number, program title, and dates in the body of the email/voicemail. The Rothesay Hive is located on the main level of Town Hall at 70 Hampton Road, Rothesay NB. The Rothesay Hive is an accessible space with accessible parking, doorways, and washroom facilities. The Rothesay HIVE is a Scent Free Zone.

To ensure safety during the winter months, when schools in Rothesay are closed due to a storm or bad road conditions, the Rothesay HIVE will close for the day.

Spaces are very limited at the Town Hall parking lot due to business operations. If able, please park across the street (65 Hampton Rd). There is a well-marked cross walk to allow members to safely cross the street. Accessible parking spots are located in the Town Hall parking lot. Looking for assitance with transportation?

  1. The Fundy Regional Service Commission is partnering with Urban/Rural Rides to provide a Volunteer-Based Community Transportation Program to service the Fundy Region. Become a volunteer driver or sign up for the program as a participant. Learn more by visiting urbanruralrides.ca or FundyRecycles.com!
  2. Nursing Home without Walls (NHWW) and the YMCA are collaborating to provide free bus transportation within the Kennebecasis Valley.
