The town of Rothesay has employment opportunities available for the following positions:
Parks Labourers
Student full-time casual positions are required for April-May to August-September.
Duties include mowing lawns and garden care, maintenance of public grounds, ball fields and playgrounds, and other duties as assigned.
Lifeguards
Student full-time casual positions are required for June to August.
Lifeguards are responsible for the supervision, safety, and well-being of patrons who use the beach area designated for community use, educating the public in the safe use of recreational water, instruction of swim programs, and responsible for daily maintenance of beach, buoys, rafts, and equipment. Current NLS Waterfront certification is required.
Playground Counselors
Student full-time casual positions are required for June to August.
Playground Counselors are responsible for the general operation of the playground programs, the direct supervision and safety of all children enrolled in the summer programs, and aiding in the planning and implementation of weekly programs for children.
