Construction Advisory: Hampton Road and Grove Avenue Intersection

Planned upgrades to the Hampton Road and Grove Avenue intersection are scheduled to begin this coming Monday, July 11th, 2022. These upgrades include the installation of underground infrastructure for new traffic signals, that are expected to be installed and operational in the fall.  The new traffic signals will improve the safety of the intersection for all roadway users; drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

Upgrades are expected to take approximately six weeks to complete with partial lane closures expected throughout the project. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes. Rothesay appreciates your patience as we continue to improve our community and make it safer for everyone.
