The City wants residents of Rothesay and the other surrounding communities to pay a tax for being its neighbour!

The following is a letter sent to Premier Blaine Higgs on behalf of the Mayors of Grand Bay-Westfield, Hampton, St. Martins, Quispamsis and Rothesay in response to the City of Saint John Sustainability Plan that proposes a tax on the outlying communities to pay for the City’s projected deficit in 2021.
