RICC Groundbreaking: Construction Underway
As of May 4, 2026 — we’ve officially broken ground on the Rothesay Intergenerational Community Complex.
The RICC will be a welcoming, inclusive, and sustainable community hub where people of all ages and abilities can come together to play, connect, and thrive. The project includes a new arena with an indoor walking track, a revitalized facility with indoor courts, meeting rooms, and accessible amenities, and a gathering space with a community policing office, café, and room to connect.
Thank you to every resident who has donated, every business who stepped up, every volunteer who gave time and energy to make this real. We look forward to posting additional updates as progress continues.
Full opening is planned for the end of 2029.
