Notice: How to Report Urgent and Non-Urgent Town Service Issues
Have an urgent issue with Town services, or need to request a service? Call the main line 24/7 at 506-848-6600. Your request will be documented and assigned to the proper town staff who will ensure the issue is rectified as soon as possible.
⚠️Emergency Service & Urgent Issues
Call the main line at 506-848-6600, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, if you are having urgent issues, such as:
- Water and Sewer problems
- Blocked storm drains or culverts (on Town property only)
- Missing traffic signs
- Potholes posing a safety risk
- Malfunctioning traffic light or crosswalk light
- Fallen tree or obstruction on Town streets
- Issues accessing Town rental facilities
- Urgent issues regarding Town Parks
ℹ️Non-Urgent Requests & Inquiries
Call the main line at 506-848-6600 or send an email to rothesay@rothesay.ca for other non-urgent requests, such as:
- Rental inquiries
- Request for tree trimming (on Town property only)
- New water or sewer services
- Inquiries regarding new development
- Inquiries regarding by-law enforcement
- Issues with garbage or compost collection
- Non-urgent culvert repair or storm drain repair (on Town property only)
- Minor road repairs and sidewalk issues
- New signage
- Issues with street lighting
- Inquiries regarding recreation services
Please note that messages received through social media and Town email will be answered within 1 business day.
While the Mayor and Councillors do their best to respond to residents, they cannot act on requests for service on an individual basis. As a result, any requests sent to any member of Council will ultimately be redirected to Town staff.
To ensure your concern is properly logged and addressed as efficiently as possible, all urgent service requests must be submitted through 506-848-6600 – available 24/7. This allows the necessary information to be gathered and the appropriate Town staff and resources can then be dispatched as soon as possible.
