ONB Economic Development Announcement

Mayor Nancy Grant was on hand today to welcome CJ Stafford, President/Owner of Stafford Communications (http://staffcom.com/) to our community. “I’m very pleased to be here to utilize the strong and talented workforce in the Saint John region,” said Stafford. She also commented on the friendliness and welcoming nature of the community, and the lifestyle in Rothesay.

The Honourable Rick Doucet made today’s job announcement for Opportunities NB (ONB) at the Stafford Communications location on Hampton Road. ONB is working with Stafford Communications to grow their New Brunswick presence – 14 of the new 31 full-time positions have already been created. The New Jerseybased company will receive payroll rebate funding from ONB and the return on investment is expected to generate $2.4 million to the provincial GDP.
