Notice: Temporary Opening of the Barricades at Renforth Wharf – March 4

February 28, 2025

The barricades at Renforth Wharf will be temporarily opened on Tuesday, March 4, from 10 AM to 4 PM to allow the removal of ice fishing shelters ahead of the forecasted rainfall on Wednesday. Once the Province of New Brunswick announces the official removal deadline for ice fishing shelters, the barricades will be permanently removed.

Please note that only all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) will be permitted on the ice to tow shelters. Cars, trucks, tow trucks, and other vehicles will not be allowed through the barricades.

We remind everyone to prioritize ice safety and environmental stewardship. Please use caution when venturing onto the ice.
