Public Hearings — 9 Clark Road and Chapel Road

Two public hearings will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Bill McGuire Centre, 95 James Renforth Drive. The hearings will be held in the following order:

1. 9 Clark Road

In accordance with Section 111 of the Community Planning Act, SNB 2017, c.19, and amendments thereto, PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Town of Rothesay intends to consider an amendment to By-law 2-10, “Rothesay Zoning By-law,” to rezone 9 Clark Road (PIDs 30130454 and 00241778), from Single Family Residential – Standard Zone (R1B) to Two Family Residential Zone (R2).

2. Chapel Road (immediately following the 9 Clark Road hearing)

In accordance with Section 111 of the Community Planning Act, SNB 2017, c.19, and amendments thereto, PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Town of Rothesay intends to consider an amendment to By-law 2-10, “Rothesay Zoning By-law,” to rezone an approximate 4.4-hectare parcel of land at Chapel Road (PID 00479212 & PID 00173443 (portion)), from Single Family Residential – Standard Zone (R1B) to Attached Residential Zone (R3).

The agenda will be available online the day of the hearing at rothesay.ca/town-hall/agendas.

Written objections to either proposed amendment will be received by the undersigned until 12 noon on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, and will be provided to Council for the Public Hearing.

Anyone wishing to speak at either Public Hearing may register with the Clerk’s office no later than Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 12 noon. Please contact the Clerk’s office at 848-6600 or Rothesay@rothesay.ca for more information.
