Legal Clinic for Tenants

Tenants in Saint John can access free legal advice on housing issues through this pop-up Tenant Legal Advice Clinic, offered by the UNB Legal Clinic and PLEIS NB.

The clinic offers up to 30 minutes of free legal advice from a law student supervised by an experienced lawyer. This event is being hosted by the Saint John Newcomers Centre (75 Prince William St).

Tenants can get help with issues such as:
• Rent increases
• Evictions
• Repairs and maintenance
• Security deposits
• Complaints to the Tenant and Landlord Relations Office

✔️ Any documents related to your tenancy
✔️ A piece of government-issued ID
