FreeThere are many ways to celebrate Canada Day this year! Join the celebrations in the Rothesay Common, explore our beautiful parks and trails, enjoy a refreshing swim at Renforth Beach, and so much more! However you choose to celebrate, we hope you have a fun and safe Canada Day!
CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS ON THE ROTHESAY COMMON
Come out and celebrate our Nation’s 158th Birthday on Tuesday, July 1st, from 12 PM – 3 PM at the Rothesay Common. Activities will begin at 12 PM with a flag-raising ceremony.
After the ceremony, enjoy:
- MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT by Alison Dawn Voice & Music Students
- BALLOON ANIMAL CREATIONS by Mr. Zapz
- FACE PAINTING by Cathie Wilson
- OPEN CIRCUS JAM by Petite Luna & Sol
- GIANT INFLATABLES & BOUNCY CASTLES
- LAWN GAMES
- POPCORN
- COTTON CANDY
- CUPCAKES
- ICE CREAM served by Royal Canadian Legion Kennebecasis Branch 58
- *BBQ served by the Kennebecasis Paddling Centre
All activities are free to the public except for the BBQ!
🥫Bring a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Kennebecasis Valley Food Basket!

RENFORTH BEACH:
Lifeguards will be on-duty at Renforth Wharf Beach on Tuesday, July 1st, from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Click here for more information about our beaches.
