Rothesay, in cooperation with Urban Organics, is working to promote composting by diverting Christmas Trees from the Regional Landfill. Rothesay residents only.

DROP-OFF LOCATIONS

• Bill McGuire Centre Parking Lot
• East Riverside-Kingshurst Park
• Rothesay Arena Front Parking Lot
• Entrance to the Wells Recreation Park

Trees must be dropped off no later than Monday, January 12, 2026.

Did You Know?

Christmas Trees will NOT be collected as part of regular garbage pickup. However, you can compost your tree by putting it in your compost cart. Please remove all the decorations and trim, delimb the tree and cut up the trunk and branches (sections must be no longer than 3 feet and 2 inches in diameter). Be sure you can close the cart’s lid.
