Celebrating Over 80 Years of Winter Carnivals in Rothesay!

Winter celebrations in Rothesay date back to 1945!

This year, the Winter Carnival on the Common takes place on Saturday, February 7th, from 2–4 PM at the Rothesay Common and inside the Rothesay Park School cafeteria. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Sunday, February 8th, at the same time.

Stop by to participate in all the FREE activities we have to offer:

• Ice skating on the Rothesay Common Ice Surface with Music from DJ Steve
• Try Snowshoeing with River & Trail Outdoor Company
• Jump onboard and go for a Horse & Trolley Ride around the Common
• Get your face painted by the talented Cathie Wilson
• Grab a balloon animal custom creation by Mr. Zapz
• Visit the colouring corner inside RPS cafeteria
• Roast Marshmallows with the 1^st Gondola Point Scouts
• Stay warm and enjoy a cup of Hot Chocolate – bring your own mug for extra warmth & help us reduce single-use cups!

All activities will take place at the Rothesay Common & RPS Cafeteria. Overflow parking is available at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. In case of inclement weather please call (506) 799-9241 for updates

We will be accepting non-perishable food items in support of the KV Food Basket at this event!
