Time: 7:00-8:30pm
Location: Bill McGuire Memorial Centre (95 James Renforth Drive)
The Recreation Master Plan is a critical document that will guide the development of parks, recreational programs, and community spaces in our area for the next several years. We believe that the best way to create a plan that truly represents the interests and desires of our community is to involve our residents in the process.
During the Open House, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about the current status of our trails, parks, and facilities.
- Review preliminary results from the public survey.
- Share their thoughts, ideas, and suggestions about what they would like to see in the future.
- Connect with the team responsible for creating and implementing the Recreation Master Plan.
Your input is vital to the success of this initiative, and we encourage all community members to attend and participate. Whether you’re an avid athlete, a nature enthusiast, a parent, or a senior citizen, your perspective is important.
The Open House will be an interactive event, beginning with a brief opening presentation that will provide you with valuable background information related to population and demographics, the present recreation setting, and preliminary results from the public survey. Following the presentation attendees will have the opportunity to view our parks, playgrounds, sports facilities, mobility, and big activity stations. Representatives will be available at each station to collect comments and answer any questions.
Rothesay is committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive community where everyone can enjoy quality recreation opportunities. Your input will help us shape a plan that meets the unique needs of our diverse population.
For those unable to attend in person, an online survey will be available here: www.bit.ly/48z94DH until Wednesday, November 1st.
Join us at the Recreation Master Plan Open House to have your say in the future of our community’s recreation services. Your voice matters, and together, we can create a brighter and more active future for Rothesay.
