Gab Gionet – Concert in the Common 2023

About the Artist: Joseph Gabriel Gionet is originally from French Village, New Brunswick. He has been writing songs on his acoustic guitar since high school and has spent the last 20 years trying to perfect his craft. Previously, he was part of a 2-person acoustic folk band (Village Cove) in New Brunswick and continued to play in this band when he moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2010. He later became part of a 4-person acoustic rock band in Alberta (Rizing Tide), in which he wrote songs, played rhythm guitar, sang lead vocals and performed at multiple venues, weddings, and talent shows. His style is an acoustic singer-songwriter indie/folk genre that sets an easy listening vibe around a campfire, at a small intimate venue, or even at a good old-fashioned east coast kitchen party. He currently resides in Yellowknife, NT, with his family, and is working on a new solo album!
