DESCRIPTION:Join us this weekend at McDonald’s restaurants in KV!  \nTwo McDonald’s restaurants in KV (175 Hampton Road & 9 Industrial Drive) to host a community fundraiser in support of the Rothesay Intergenerational Community Complex (RICC) \nRothesay\, NB – October 3–5\, 2025 – McDonald’s Restaurants on Hampton Road and Industrial Drive are proud to partner with the town of Rothesay for a special three-day fundraising event in support of the Rothesay Intergenerational Community Complex (RICC)\, a new facility designed to bring together people of all ages and abilities. \nFrom October 3 to 5\, $1 from every Value Meal sold will go directly to the RICC project. In addition\, the Hampton Road restaurant will host family-friendly in-store activities\, appearances from beloved McDonald’s characters\, and community guests—including local hockey players\, who will join in the fun by washing windows in the drive-thru. \nThe RICC is a $3 million community initiative built on the campaign tagline\, “Rooted in Community – Built for Generations.” This inclusive\, barrier-free space will provide recreational opportunities\, gathering areas\, and programming for youth\, families\, adults\, and seniors. \n“We are excited to open our doors to the community and help raise funds for such an important project\,” said Jeremy and Jane Cleveland\, local McDonald’s Owner/Operators. “The RICC will be a place where generations come together\, and we’re proud to support a vision that aligns with our own commitment to community.” \nEvent Highlights: \n\n$1 from every Value Meal donated all weekend (Oct 3–5)\n\n\nFamily-friendly activities in-store Saturday afternoon (Hampton Road location)\n\n\nSpecial appearances from local hockey players and mascots\n\n\nCommunity fun with McDonald’s character Grimace\n\nAbout the Rothesay Intergenerational Community Complex\nThe RICC will be a vibrant hub where people of all ages can connect\, play\, and thrive.
