SUMMARY:Earth Day Community Clean Up 2026
DESCRIPTION:Earth Day Community Clean-Up: THINK GREEN\, KEEP IT CLEAN \nWe invite schools\, businesses\, community groups\, and residents in Rothesay to join the race to make the world a better place! Rothesay is hosting a community clean-up from Saturday\, April 18th to Wednesday\, April 22nd. Get your friends\, family\, co-workers\, and neighbours involved and help make a difference! \nGloves and garbage bags are available for community members to use to clean up litter in our parks\, trails\, and green spaces. You can pick up your gloves and garbage bags at Rothesay Town Hall during regular business hours (Monday to Friday between 8am-12pm and 1pm-4:30pm) from April 17th-22nd. We have partnered with JTR Services to have a dumpster at the Rothesay Arena Parking lot for you to drop off collected garbage. \nIf you’d like some direction on where to clean up\, we have noticed an increased amount of trash in the following areas: \n\nBeginning of Oakville Acres (near subway)\nScribner Crescent\nBi-Centennial Ballfield parking lot to Dolan Road\nAirport Arterial – Both sides\nCampbell Drive from Canadian Tire to the Fire Station\nCul-de-Sac at the top of Grove Avenue (close to McKay Hwy)\nRothesay High School and Rothesay Arena Parking Lots (close to Scott Avenue)\nBill McGuire Centre Parking lot – tennis courts\nRenforth Park and Beach area\nTop of Fox Farm Road at Hwy off-ramp (gravel parking area)\nAlong Rothesay Road (the side closest to the train tracks) from KPark to Villa Madonna\nSierra Avenue\nMillennium Drive from Kent Building Supplies to Donlyn Drive\n\nIf you have questions\, please call 506-799-9241 or email alexholder@rothesay.ca \nWe’d love to see who’s participating!
