DESCRIPTION:Earth Day Community Clean-Up: THINK GREEN\, KEEP IT CLEAN \nWe invite schools\, businesses\, community groups\, and residents in Rothesay to join the race to make the world a better place! Rothesay is hosting a community clean-up from Saturday\, April 19th to Tuesday\, April 22nd. Get your friends\, family\, co-workers\, and neighbours involved and help make a difference! \nGloves and garbage bags are available for community members to use to clean up litter in our parks\, trails\, and green spaces. You can pick up your gloves and garbage bags at the Rothesay Arena during regular business hours from April 14th-18th (8am-4:30pm). We have partnered with JTR Services to have a dumpster at the Rothesay Arena Parking lot for you to drop off collected garbage. \nIf you’d like some direction on where to clean up\, we have noticed an increased amount of trash in the following areas:\n• Beginning of Oakville Acres (near subway)\n• Scribner Crescent\n• Bi-Centennial Ballfield parking lot to Dolan Road\n• Airport Arterial – Both sides\n• Campbell Drive from Canadian Tire to the Fire Station\n• Cul-de-Sac at the top of Grove Avenue (close to McKay Hwy)\n• Rothesay High School and Rothesay Arena Parking Lots (close to Scott Avenue)\n• Bill McGuire Centre Parking lot – tennis courts\n• Renforth Park and Beach area\n• Top of Fox Farm Road at Hwy off-ramp (gravel parking area)\n• Along Rothesay Road (the side closest to the train tracks) from KPark to Villa Madonna\n• Sierra Avenue\n• Millennium Drive from Kent Building Supplies to Donlyn Drive \nIf you have questions\, please call 506-847-6398 or email KeriFlood@rothesay.ca
