DESCRIPTION:The 13th Annual Through the Lens Photo Contest is here! \nShow us your best angle of Rothesay for a chance to WIN amazing prizes! \n \nOur Town is well known for its people\, history\, quality of life and picturesque location in the Kennebecasis Valley. Rothesay boasts parks\, beaches\, wharves\, playgrounds\, hiking trails\, biking lanes\, many recreation sites and some hidden gems too! \nShow us your favourite spot in Rothesay (that you are willing to share) through the lens of your camera. Send your photos of spring\, summer\, fall\, winter – makes no difference – we’ll take them all! \nSend your photos by Wednesday\, August 19\, 2026\, to be entered to win! \n  \nPlease read ALL the requirements prior to submitting photos. \nSUBMISSIONS OPEN: May 27\, 2026\nSUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: August 19\, 2026 \nREQUIREMENTS: One photo per email (maximum of 5 submissions) with subject line “Through the Lens 2026”. Include your name\, email address\, phone number\, date\, and location of where the photo was captured. Send in jpeg/jpg/png format with a minimum photo dimension of 1024×768 pixels\, a minimum of 1MB and a maximum of 10MB in size. \nVOTING PERIOD: August 21 – September 2\, 2026\nVote by “liking” your favourite photo on the Rothesay Facebook Page. The contest winner will be determined by the greatest number of “likes” on the Rothesay Facebook Page. \nWINNER ANNOUNCEMENT: September 14\, 2026\nThe winner of the Through the Lens Photo Contest will be recognized at the Rothesay Council meeting on Monday\, September 14\, 2026. \nTERMS AND CONDITIONS: All entries must be photographs taken in Rothesay\, NB. Photos will be screened for appropriateness before being considered for voting. Photos that are deemed inappropriate\, do not include Rothesay in the image\, and/or have previously been submitted will be void. Appropriateness of the photos is at the sole and exclusive discretion of the Town. By entering the contest\, the participant authorizes Rothesay to reproduce and display all submitted photos on the Town website\, social media channels\, in the community newsletter or any other print and digital materials as it sees fit. Participants who submit a photo depicting people (readily recognizable) must obtain and submit written permission from the people photographed. \n  \nWe hope you share the beautiful photos of Rothesay that you capture with us!
