Winter Carnival on the Common

Winter celebrations in Rothesay date back to 1945! This year, the Winter Carnival on the Common takes place on Saturday, February 8th, from 2–4 PM at the Rothesay Common and inside the Rothesay Park School cafeteria. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Sunday, February 9th, at the same time.
Stop by to participate in all the FREE activities we have to offer:
- Take in the Ice Dance International presents: Winter Tidings in Rothesay – 2:30pm.
- Following the performance, the ice surface will be open for public skating
- Try Snowshoeing with River & Trail Outdoor Company
- Join the Heritage Walk N Talk “Winter in NB 1783-2025” with David Goss – 3:00pm meet on the Rothesay Common Stage
- Jump onboard and go for a Tractor & Trolly Ride around the Common
- Get your face painted by the talented Cathie Wilson
- Grab a balloon animal custom creation by Mr. Zapz
- Visit the coloring corner inside RPS cafeteria
- Roast Marshmallows with the 1st Gondola Point Scouts
- Stay warm and enjoy a cup of Hot Chocolate
All activities will take place at the Rothesay Common & RPS Cafeteria. Overflow parking is available at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. In case of inclement weather please call (506) 847-6398 for updates
We will be accepting non-perishable food items in support of the KV Food Basket at this event!
