CANADA DAY IN ROTHESAY 2023

**Due to the wet grounds and rainy weather forecast, we’re moving our Canada Day celebrations to inside the Rothesay Arena, but don’t worry, the festivities are still on!

There are many ways to celebrate Canada Day this year! Join the celebrations in the Rothesay Arena, explore our beautiful parks and trails, enjoy a refreshing swim at Renforth Beach, watch the Canadian Heritage live broadcast from the comfort of your own home, and so much more! However you choose to celebrate, we hope you have a fun and safe Canada Day!

CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS ON THE ROTHESAY COMMON

Come out and celebrate our Nation’s 156th Birthday on Saturday, July 1^st from 12-3pm at the Rothesay Arena. Activities will begin at 12:00pm with the singing of O’Canada.

After the ceremony enjoy:

• MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT by Alison Dawn Voice & Music Students
• POPCORN & COTTON CANDY
• CUPCAKES
• LAWN GAMES
• BALLOON ANIMAL CREATIONS
• FACE PAINTING
• GIANT INFLATABLES & BOUNCY CASTLES
• ICE CREAM served by Royal Canadian Legion Kennebecasis Branch 58
• BBQ served by the Kennebecasis Lion’s Club

All activities are free to the public except for the BBQ!

Rain location: will be the Rothesay Arena (65 Hampton Road)

RENFORTH  BEACH:

Lifeguards will be on-duty at Renforth Wharf Beach on Saturday, July 1^st, from 11:00AM – 5:00PM. Click here for more information about our beaches.

CANADIAN HERITAGE CELEBRATIONS:
